Type: General picture of a clay floor (unit 4071).

Site: Raisio, Ihala, Mulli abode.

Period: Viking Age / Crusade Age / Early Middle Ages.

Dating: 980-1220 A.D.

Photographer: Taina Pietikäinen.

Direction of photography: From west.

 

Some post-holes are visible in the clay floor. The poles are, however, decomposed. The building with the clay floor is splitted in two by a ditch that was dug in the 1960s. When the picture was taken, the oven was already documented and excavated off.
