Period: Viking Age / Crusade Age / Early Middle Ages.

Dating: 980-1220 A.D.

The picture shows a long wall timber of the long wall of the log house, and immediately east of it there is the covered drain. Beside the timber-wall line there are some post-holes visible in which there have been pillars belonging to a tongue-in-groove construction.
