Terra Sienna, you are right... Thank you! Illusions, illusions... ALL physical fathers... May be IT all is inside...

dick , 08/05/2001 17:50
Why is this a called a mirrow?

Atlantis , 08/05/2001 17:23
To continue where marlena ended (same thing really, different poet):

"Absorb thyself in this great sea of the waters of life. Dive deep in it-- until thou hast lost thyself. And having lost thyself, then thou shalt find thyself again. Even as it is written, She had her dwelling in the great sea-- and was a fish therein."

Terra Sienna , 08/05/2001 16:48
When I really want to see something, I close my eyes. This might work for you too Candira. Just listen to the blood that runs in your veins. They are all there: your father, his father and his...all of your ancestors.

marlena , 08/05/2001 16:40
As you are looking in the mirror of water you see only water, which is the source of life. You have to transmigrate over water in order to find your roots - on the shores of the Blue Danube and of the Black Sea...

Thank you, Candira, for a good "shooting"!

Capture can see in the dark a wonderful future - I hope you'll continue to share it with us!

Please change experiences in Capture at http://www.capture.f2s.com/!

By the way, lil girl... You´ve been hacked! ;-)

Candira , 08/05/2001 15:48
Quick one: Still no success with my Dad. AFTAB KASOOR and RIGA, maybe you could tell me WHERE exactly I could be looking from here in Helsinki? NASSAU - can you remember any detail from my childhood, I'd be more than grateful.
For the Indian DANCE, of course I'm aware of Isha Sharvani's and Daksha Seth's wonderful work in renewing the heritage of Indian dance. I don't know them personally, though. If you'd like to know more about the basics of Indian dance, you can check out, for instance, www.indiagov.org/culture/dances/dnceform.htm. Finally, I was very touched by TIA's zen saying.
See you, new stuff every day!!

Hey dear friends!

It's me, Candira, having my lunch break at Capture's cafeteria. I need a cool drink after the motion capture session. It's very interesting seeing yourself doubled on the screens... I'll tell you more later, but first you could check out the first photos at www.capture.f2s.com. Pretty nice, huh?
I'll reply to your messages asap. THANKS, darlings!
Love, Candira

Night-time. I stare in the mirror, blueish skin, black eyes. Go to the bar downstairs, drop rings in my drink. Adjust my skoliosis corset, tighten my watch, switch on my phone, go through the menu, clean my lenses, take a photo, capture it all on film, copy it later. Create something new, before the morning.

What can you see in the dark? Tell me!

Tia , 08/05/2001 10:17
hi candira,
i haven´t met your father but you are on the right way: i´ve read an old zen-saying ...
"searching for the roots is like looking for tranquility, tranquility is like following your destiny, following your destiny is like enlightenment, enlightenment is like eternity .."
good luck!

Nassau , 08/05/2001 10:08
Dear Candira,

It's me, Nassau. You probably don't remember me. When I last saw you, you were a little baby, beautiful even then. I always knew your previous life had been one of virtue.

I was a friend of your father's at the time we lived in the same country. I am so sorry to hear that you don't know where he is. Totally bad karma. I will do anything I can to help you, just ask!

Love,
Nassau

Your father might be wandering along with a steppenwolf from Lapi, and keeping his feelings to himself. He is born in the Chinese sign of the Horse and I once met him in a faraway place called Luvland.

anna , 07/05/2001 17:36

Isha Sharvani is quite a promise as a dancer... Saw her yesterday in Alekanterinteatteri (http://kulttuuri.hel.fi/english/aleksanteri.html) with Daksha Seth (http://www.dakshasheth.com)... Do you know her/them, Candira?

Look, I'm sorry Candira... I didn't think you still wanted to see your old man since you made it so big in the Bollywood scene. Well, I'll try to make it up for you - say next Xmas, OK? Oops, forgot you don't celebrate Christmas in India :)

Candira , 06/05/2001 17:42
Heyyyyy. Drop a word on Daddy. What is he for you? Tell me, I just imagine stuff. Thanks, luv.
