Sheryl - television aided interaction

Basic idea of interaction is communicating with a machine or with other people through a computer.

Our opinion is that interaction is more about communicating and meeting unknown people, who are interested in the same show.

The world in which the characters live expands beyond the the tv screen. In a normal show one can only chat about the events in it, but in our model viewers can actively find out more about the plot. Television only shows a certain slice of the world shown in the program.

Most active viewers can adapt one role based on a character from the program. That way they will know him or her better than an average viewer. By visiting the actual locations where the show takes place viewers can exchange information received with the role-kit they have ordered.

Our main goal as interaction designers is to define the tasks and experiences that viewers can solve by communicating with other users.
